Spanish Levels

Beginner

Level 1

Introduces learners to the basic sounds, structures, and vocabulary of Spanish. Students learn to greet others, exchange simple personal information, describe people and objects, and talk about very basic daily routines.

Level 2

Develops students’ ability to communicate in everyday situations using the present tense. Students will talk about daily activities, describe people and places, discuss plans, and give directions, while beginning to use reflexive verbs and object pronouns.

Level 3

Students develop the ability to understand and produce simple spoken and written Spanish related to familiar topics such as family, work, food, shopping, clothing, preferences, weather, and everyday activities.

Level 4

Reviews key grammar structures and essential vocabulary from all beginner levels, with a strong emphasis on speaking and real-life communication.

Intermediate

Level 1

Helps learners consolidate present-tense structures and develop systematic control of past tenses in Spanish. The course focuses on narrating past events, describing habitual and background situations, expressing preferences and reactions, and managing everyday social interactions with greater accuracy and fluency.

Level 2

Students develop greater control of past narration, future reference, opinions, and hypothetical language, while improving conversational fluency. The course emphasizes meaningful spoken interaction, coherent storytelling, and effective participation in everyday and semi-formal situations.

Level 3

Advanced

4 Advanced Levels

  • Think fluently in Spanish.
  • Use the subjunctive mood, future and conditional perfect tenses.
  • Apply the 3 types of conditional sentences.
  • Practical skills: Discuss real and hypothetical situations, make suppositions, express regret, compare ideas, propose solutions, engage in in-depth discussions, and understand complex readings.

Conversation

Intermediate level

Talk about past events and experiences in Spanish using the preterite and imperfect tenses. Practice telling stories, describing situations, and sharing personal experiences.
